The Cumberland Crushers U12 basketball team came home with a gold medal, after a hard-fought victory last weekend at Provincials. Head Coach Sam Alick has been working all season toward improving on the fundamentals of basketball, and her team put it all together when it mattered the most. Behind the Tournament MVP Julia Sharpe (pictured), the Crushers played great team basketball and even better defense to win the Division 6 Provincial Championship.
Massive congratulations to all the players and coaches of the U12 Cumberland Crushers! You have done yourselves and all of Cumberland County very proud by earning your Provincial Championship! It would not have been possible without your hard work and dedication to your sport and your team!
